Galaxy FBO is Named 2017 FltPlan Pilots’ Choice Award Winner

Galaxy FBO, along with the Conroe North Houston Regional Airport is named one of top general aviation operations in United States by the FltPlan Pilots’ Choice Award survey.

Now in its eight year, the survey is open to all of FltPlan’s 160,000-plus registered users. In addition to U.S. FBOs, the survey ranks FBO chains, Canadian, Caribbean, and Mexican FBOs, ATC Centers, ATC Towers, and airport-based U.S. Customs & Border Protection facilities. U.S. FBOs are also ranked by region.

Galaxy FBO has claimed the following titles from FltPlan in 2017:

  • Top 50 U.S. FBOs – Tenth Place
  • Top U.S. FBOs South Central – Fifth Place
  • Star FBO – Fourth Place

In addition, Conroe North Houston Regional Airport Air Traffic Control was named one of Top 10 ATC Towers in the country.

FltPlan was established in 1991 and has grown into one of largest flight planning services in North America. Registered Fltplan users file over 50% of all N#-registered flight plans. Pilots’ Choice Star FBO award winners are determined using votes received and airport arrival data to generate a ranking that takes into account the traffic at an airport and the amount of competition on the field.
